We also have free account protections and extensions, as well as deferred payment plans to help you avoid disconnection!

How Long Does It Take to Get Connected?

Pronto Power gets 98% of customers connected within one hour. No other DeSoto prepaid electric company can match this.

To get connected within the hour, your home must have a smart meter. Your smart meter must also be free of issues such as switch holds, permit requirements, and new construction.

You must also join and make payment prior to 6:30 PM.

What Hidden Fees Does Pronto Power Charge?

What’s a “Second Chance Credit?”

This allows you to get onto a monthly billing plan without a credit check, deposit, or ID check. Simply go 90 days without having your electricity disconnected to qualify.

What Happens If You Miss a Payment?

It’s really quite hard to miss making a payment. Pronto Power sends you daily text / email (or both, your choice) notifications of your account balance at 7 AM each day. You then have until 1 PM each day to make your payment.
